I would have to say follow your heart. I agree with Kim about the soul connection and doing what makes you happy. Sometimes when a female or male is younger, they tend to miss out on doing this or that and it may cause the person to seek what the older person may have already experienced. I think also very important to have the same interests, that way you both do what you enjoy together and no one gets bored in the relationship and then wants to go out on their on to do stuff they may feel they have missed. Just keep in mind that you will find that sometimes you willl realize the age difference when it comes to certain things. Those things will be revealed as you 2 grown together so just keep that in the fore front.

I think in certain situations age must be taken into consideration - for example of a woman can no longer have children and is with a man who wants to have biological children, or a young woman who likes to go out, travel and is active and if the man is significantly older and does not want to do those things or is not capable of it, and there are other scenerios too where one can't stick their head in the sand and pretend all is ok as long as they love each other because it eventually will come to haunt them and create resentment. But when both are in their 20's and 30's, I don't think it makes a difference if it is the woman who is older than the man. Some women mature slower and some men mature faster so two people can level out to the same wavelength so to speak, and get along fine without the woman having to be a mother figure and significantly more mature, but even if that were to be the case, if the involved are ok with it, that's all that matters and not what other people think or feel or say!
