Do NOT use mac bronzer's they suck and will turn you orange. You can use bronzer's with shimmer but you have to apply it as a highlighter meaning you don't cover your face in it. Nars has some really nice powder bronzer's casino, and laguna. You should before you apply the bronzing powder use a moisturizer mixed with an illuminator to give off a raident glow. You can also mix the illuminator in with your foundation if you wear it. The best spray on tan is at a salon or spa it's called an airbrush tan sorta like body makeup.

Khole is Armenian, shes not olive.

I'm 100% Armenian and im very pale like marilyn Manson, not all armenians have olive complexions. both my parents are pale and have blue eyes and are 100% Armenian.

Also for pale people i found loreal sublime and jergens daily glow to work best, they dont make you orange..

ive used maybe about 30 sunless tanning products and those work best.

Dont use Jergens express makes you orange use the daily version.

Also Dont use tanning booths they lead to skin cancer and also cellulite.

Bronzing powders on the body are kind of nasty cause they rub off, esecially if your caught in the rain..

i really reccomend the Loreal sublime and Jergens Glow..

hey kim. i am 100% persian and have a natural olive complexion as well. i have been hesitant about trying tanning for fear of looking orange after. but if you say that it is okay for you than i guess i should try it. thanks for the tips. also i find in the winter i look really pale. do you as well?? but in the summer my olive skin appears more olive. it's hard to figure out...lol.

i use a MAC powder, NC35 i believe i forget, but i only use it on my nose, chin, and forehead for oil control. on my cheaks i use a cheap bronzer its like $2.99 from CVS but i use it with a brush, not the pad it comes with because using the brush makes it a feel lighter on your face and not cakey. i am 100% itailian and i have oily/olive colored skin, so i do use the tannin salon like 3 times a month, only to keep a nice color. i try to use the sun to the fullest because its healthier and makes u look 10 times better. i have used a spray tan once for a wedding, just for a quick and easy look, and i liked it alot and recommend it to anyone. it lasted like 12 days and u couldnt even tell it was fading. so whatever u like use, everyone is different

I am Armenian too, with Russian Armenian ancestors in Turkey, I have very very snow white skin like my dad but my sisters, brother and mom have a very olive complexion. It's impossible for me to tan because I only turn red and easily burn. Just walking ouotdoors the other day without sunscreen has turned my face tomato red. I've tried to self-spraying tanners and like you say, I turn orange and feel icky because it smears and washes off, but I could never bring myself to go to a tanning booth knowing how dangerous the rays are, how the gamma rays in them can mutate your genes leading to a form of cancer down the road (not necessarily skin cancer). It amazes me how the FDA legalizes them but I guess it's also legal to go out in the sun...so it's a hard choice what to do. When I use a good sunscreen I won't burn or tan so I can't get color. I am thinking of getting professionally sprayed, but I am on a healthy toxin free diet and drink a lot of water to cleanse my body so I'm afraid the spray chemicals will soak into my skin and into my bloodstream and cause buildup. I know, I'm a little extreme, but I am thinking if they invent an organic toxin free spray - hey that's a good idea of mine - then I'm all for it :) Your skin color is so beautiful even without the tan so just be safe! Your mother has a beautiful tan though, and I can tell it's natural without sprays!

Okay, I've tried about a dozen sunless tanners and I do have some good news.
I am Hispanic and have olive skin only in the summer when i can be out in the sun but in the winter I'm pale, it's weird.

So this can go for both skin types.

Olive- there is hardly a sunless tanner that won't turn you orange because what you need is a little stronger than people w/light skin for it to show up. I found that using bronzing oil like from Banana Boat w/spf 8 or 15 depending on your sensitivity and laying out in the sun works, and you're protected. Also Malibu Hemp Bronzing Lotion is a sunless tanner that gives you a golden tone tan rather than orange, but it might not show up that much on lighter skin. Oh, and it smells yummy!

Light- If you have light skin I love Jergins or Dove as mentioned already but the thing I hate most is the SMELL! So if you don't mind the smell they are great, if not try Victoria Secrets Bare Bronze Daily Glow Moisturizer. OMG it smells so tropical! And it works. Plus they have different shades depending on your color, light and medium.

BUT it is the summer and the SUN isn't a bad thing in moderate quantities, it's actually healthy. Just make sure you use something with some SPF and you're good to go!
