Oh and to answer your question about the lashes. I have worn them in the past. I wore them when me and my girls went on vacation and in my best friend's wedding and then there were occasions where I just felt like rocking some fake lashes. I started off wearing the MAC lashes. I don't remember the #, but they were the ones that were long in the corner. I would have the girls at the store put them on for me before I left. Then a few times I wore the individuals. I would have my friend and cousin put them on for me. I have put them on myself a few times, but it's a pain in the neck. As with everything else, the more you do it, the easier it gets. I don't bother with them too much now. Too much maintenance. I focus on my lashes now.

Fake eyelashes adhere to your skin next to your natural eyelashes and last up to 12 hours. They come off at the end of the night.

Eyelash extensions are bonded to your natural eyelashes by a technician and last anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months.

Fake eyelashes (or falsies) are kind of like a wig that would come off at the end of the night.
Eyelash extensions are similiar to hair extensions as they last a couple months.

i wear fake lashes when i feel like having the full thick lash look. it aint that hard to put them on just let the glue dry a lil bit so that when you put them on they dont smear and leave glue all on your eye lids. i think i'll go buy a pair at MAC! :)

You put the glue a little bit above your real lashes and put the eye lash on lightly. then press the lash on ur eyelid..its pretty easy but im sure it looks alot better to do it professionally.. I think you should try really dramatic eyelashes with jewels and what not you would look great!

Hey Kim,
I am a make up artist and so I do have a tip for you. I'm not sure if you use individual lashes or the connected ones but I personally like the individual ones better. They look more natural and if you already have long lashes you really dont need the connected ones. So, for the individuals they come with a little bottle of glue and you would use tweezers to grab them by the tip of the lashes and dab the part that goes onto your eye lid into the glue and gently place them where you want them! Sounds confusing but if you try it you will get the hang of it! Hope I helped a little!

I finally figured out how to put them on myself all you have to do is start in the middle closest to your lash line and work your way in and out it takes time but it's good to know how to do it yourself!

Kim added to her post to clear things up about what she said and didn't say but I can definitely tell you where the confusion came about!

When those rumors were going around about her throwing a fit because the make up artist didn't have the right lashes she said this:
"There is a rumor going around right now that I was holding everyone up at an event because I demanded that my stylist find a certain pair of fake eyelashes. Like the lashes in question, this story is nothing but fake. You can read more here on my position on fake lashes! Ha! "

Obviously that aludes that she is against fake lashes since she's saying the rumor is false. So, if people don't click the link and actually read what she wrote it seems that she doesnt even wear lashes.

Kim, so since you DO wear lashes and a particular kind, like the rumor says...

Kim posted months ago about the fact that she wears eye lashes. That should not be breaking news. Celebrities from the A list to the Z list wear fake lashes. That in no way verifies that ridiculous rumor that she threw a fit because she didn't get the lashes she wants. It's so easy for any blogger to come to Kim's website find information about her then go to their blog and make up a ridiculous story. Duuuuuuh.
