i actually like both this is more natural and the smokey one its more dramatic depending on where you are going

Firstly I think it's quite sad that you wear as much makeup as you do. For the times when you are going out at night to a premiere or a thing of that sort, then of course it makes sense for you to do the smokey eye look. But during the day, it makes you come across as very insecure (because who cakes their face in the day?. Having said that, because you have always worn layers of makeup at every time of day, I think you look wierd without out. I am used to seeing you caked. So I say stick to that. And unfortunately you don't bare the grace and elegance of kate Winslet and others, who I think look stunning without makeup at all.

Definite improvement from the piled on look. Less is more. Try to ease up on the layers of foundation next. You're not hideous so the cake batter isn't necessary.

I don't know much about the make up lines you mentioned, but you might want to look into the ingredients. Some of the make up lines have harsh or toxic ingredients in them.

I like to buy from the co-op, health food store, Body Shop, or Aveda because I trust their ingredients more.

Yes this is def you..It has a much softer look to it..Don't get me wrong The black liner, etc is always good for a nite out, but just for everyday this does you alot more justice.Less is more babez!

Its a nice soft look for the summer and I love it...nice and fresh. The smokey eye look to me was your signature look...but that is best to be worn at night in my opinion..

Kim, I love your smokey eye look when you are dressed up or going out, however I also love this "natural" look for everyday wear. Only thing that pops out is the bottom lashes. While your lashes are absolutely GORGEOUS and long I think little to no mascara on the bottom would work best to avoid having "spider legs" lashes and would lend itself better to the "natural" look.

Kim you're gorgoeus regardless but I prefer the smokey eyed look on you better. The lighter eye make-up is probably better for a natural look during the day.

Hey Kim, first off you know you're beautiful no matter what. But, I like the more natural look for everyday...literally, with just maybe a tinted moisturizer, bronzer, and a natural kind of lip gloss. But, for something dressy, definitely the smoky look...just not as much.

I just love that you're beautiful inside. Keep it up and keep the charity work up. One thing to keep each of us grateful and humble, is to do something for someone less fortunate.

Hey Kim! I love the less eye makeup look on you, it makes you look younger and more innocent. If you are wanting to look sexy and seductive then you should definitely do the smokey eyes! My favorite way to do the everyday look is to do the light eyeshadows and shimmer like you did and just put a thin line of black or brown eyeliner on the top and bottom to make my eyes standout and then I love love to put on my mascara.... at least 3 layers! I couldnt tell if you had eye liner on or not but I think it would definitely complete the look without being too smokey.

I am a MAC addict so I know what youre going through with trying new makeup styles. Both look great on you it just depends on what look you are going for. Im a huge fan of the smokey eye also and usually wear it out or to work. I use carbon and black tied from MAC when I want to go for an intense smokey eye. Anyway you have to wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident, but you are beautiful either way.

OMG! You have eyelashes as long as a camel! Geez! Some things are just not fair!! Maybe I should buy that lash growing stuff you said you use. First of all, you have beautiful skin! Amazing coloring and bone structure- you look great with makeup and without. I love both looks on you. I think you enjoy makeup products like me and it's fun exploring and trying new looks.I also think that you can pull off a heavy, dramatic eye with alot of mascara b/c you have such a fresh face. It seems like I am always in the search for a perfect pink/nude lipgloss and I am always on the hunt for finding just the right shade!

i think you look good either way. personally, i'd do a lighter eye (like these pics) in the day, and a smokey eye for going out at night. or you could even do a light smokey eye for during the day using pinks, peaches, and light brown or taupe. you will look gorgeous no matter what you decide to do!

I like the lighter look - its very pretty and feminine. I love the smokey eye look but I think its a bit much for everyday, and dinner. Its fab when you are going out to a big event and you look soo amazing when your eyes are smokey but I like this look too. I really wish you could teach me how you get your makeup so good, Im useless at doing my eyes - if I have anything special to go to I have to get my makeup professionally done!

I like the lighter look a bit more. It's fresh, clean, reflects how healthy your skin is and further proves how naturally beautiful you are.

You look beautiful anyway. I really love the lighter makeup. You look really fresh and with such perfect, bold brows, you don't really have to do the whole smoky look to look great. I just love your eyebrows. Even though I'm bright blonde myself, I have dark, bold brows and I think it's great because I can just wear mascara and my eyes still look done. So woohoo for good eyebrows! haha, I think so many people would look so much better if they just fixed their eyebrows. Anyway, you look stunning with smoky eyes too. You are just the best kim! This is the first comment I'm leaving but I keep up with your blog on a daily basis. Your posts are great and its so nice that you keep your fans up to date and ask for our opinion.

You are so beautiful both ways and I think you pull of the no makeup look very well. This minimal make up look is really great; the shimmer and color of the shadow on your eyes is so pretty. The only thing is, I would stick to having a matte finish on your face instead of having a little shimmer on your face AND eyes.

I think you should try this look out more often during the day time and for things like getting your nails done or grocery shopping. You pull off the smokey eye look very good as well but I think this lighter eye make up look would be so pretty on the red carpet at an event with a simple light colored dress. I would definitely switch it up and try this one more often; it really shows your natural beauty.

Kim, I think you are absolutely beautiful, but I think this lighter look is better if you are going shopping or getting a coffee (something casual). Your darker makeup is my favorite all-time look on you.

It looks very nice, except the bottom lashes look way too long. You look really "fresh faced" though. Both ways are a good look on you.
