First of all I want to say that I love your style and congrats on all your sucess! I have a serious fashion question! I say serious because it is dealing with my hair! :) I am half Puerto Rican and half Dominican and for years I have stuck to the blond family. Like about ten years or so. I'm talikng about like a strawberry blond and things of that nature. Until about two years ago I decided to go platinum blond-which is the blondest of them all! :) Anyways, lately I have been wanting and feeling like I need a change. I was thinking about going darker. Much darker, like a dark brown. But I am really, really scared and nervous because I'm afraid it won't look good on me. You know the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it! Well that's how I feel about my hair, but I really feel like this color might, just might look good on me and make me look more latina. So, my first question is what color is your hair? Is it black or dark brown? And, do you think I can pull off the darker look?? Please let me know your thoughts! I would really really appreciate it! Thanks! :)

Hi Kim I don´t know how to ask a question in "kim to the rescue" so I do it here. Have you ever experienced racism personally?
If so, how do you deal with it?
I have experienced racism or racist comments some times in my life because of my oriental looks. But I don´t see why I should dye my hair or wear brighter contacts to avoid that. But it´s bugging me that people use a "weakness"; your ethnic background to insult you.

I think you should also write in magazines that's a nice idea.
Because you have the sense and style when it comes to fashion.

You know what I realize? I realize that people come up here and critize her for everything. Folks come up here and talk so much trash about her and her sisters and her mom.

And you know what I realise from all of that? Kim actually took the time to get upset when folks said she wears makeup to the gym. OMG she actually took the time to defend herself about makeup? Out of all the things she could have been defending herself from all the comments made up here....she gotta cry and yell and make a blog about how untrue it is that she goes to the gym wearing makeup. smh

It's obvious she wears makeup to the gym and to the beach.

Watch that episode "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" (Self-Defense) watch the last part of the episode when Rob and Scot plays and prank on them....Kim is in the store with no makeup on....that is how pale she looks......So you all know she wears globs and globs and layers and layers of makeup 24/7. lol

BEING FAMOUS COMES AT A PRICE. EVERYBODY KNOWS WHEN YOU ARE FAMOUS, YOU ARE SCRUTINIZED OVER EVERYTHING. You absolutely DO NOT have to dye your hair or wear contacts! Some of the most beautiful women I know are Asian of some sort and they are DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! Everyone in their lifetime is going to experience some kind of racism because there is always going to be ignorant people in the world. My boyfriend and i get dirty looks all the time because we are a biracial couple. But it doesn't bother me. If yuo do everything according to what everyone else thinks you should do, it would make you a weak minded person. People who give into that nonsense can't think for themselves, or they don't have enough guts to stand up for themselves.
So you just be you.
And seriously, my asian friends are BEAUTIFUL. They get compliments from men and women everywhere we go, especially about their gorgeous black hair. So be proud of what you have.
